The HVAC system for the Mongol Refinery was meticulously designed to withstand the harsh climatic conditions of Dornogovi province, Mongolia, where temperatures can plummet well below freezing in winter. Considering the refinery’s remote desert location, the system incorporated high-efficiency heating units, robust insulation, and equipment rated for extreme cold to ensure uninterrupted operation. The project adhered to stringent engineering standards and was executed within the stipulated timeline as part of India’s strategic support to Mongolia’s first major oil refinery, addressing both operational needs and environmental challenges unique to the region.
